Well, I finished up with the front axle on my T100 about two days ago and thought I might post my findings for those other folks with heavy right feet. Any axle out of an 86 and up toyota 4x4 will work on any truck or 4runner until 96. The ADD axle tube and shaft will not work with a non ADD pumpkin. The pumpkin and tube from an 87 4runner is the exact length of the 95 t100 pumpkin and axle.

So... If you want to keep ADD, you need to find an ADD donor vehicle. If you want to use an older axle then you need to do the manual hub conversion, which is as simple as removing the hubs from the donor vehicle and installing them in place of your drive plates. Also, it seems that the majority of standard tranny toyotas had 4.10s so unless you want to regear later check the axle codes or spin and count. BTW if you have the money, install a locker while you have it out. The removal isn't that hard but it is a lot of wrenching.

Oh, and BTW, the breather on the axle cover points up

Cool deal, I did a similar swap into my 91 runner a few months ago, tossed the ADD, used the Aisin lockouts from my 86 p/u, installed a non add complete front dif with a true trac from an unknown year.

I'll post up seperately the Nissan part numbers for breather adaptors, it has a 1/4 barbed fitting on it for running extended breather tubes using fuel line- $5 at your local dealer.
