Malicious software message prompting to install flash player?

This evening when trying to load up certain ih8mud pages I was redirected to a fake adobe website prompting me to download a fake flash player called java.exe. If anyone else got this and ran that software I recommend you update your anti virus software and run a virus scan.


Sorry for the off topic, but this is pretty important and relevant to anyone here who was affected by this.

two pages on the site redirected straight to a page on a domain similar but not the same to www.adobe.com and tried to start a download called java.exe. At the save or run prompt I cancelled. The pages that redirected were the 40 & 55 series forum index, and the subscribed threads page. Going straight to a bookmarked thread didn't cause the problem.

There was a period of about 37 mins when there were no new posts, from 00:47 to 01:24 GMT (about an hour ago) so I think this was affecting all visitors to the 40 & 55 page.
