I saw a post on social media about using a micro sd to download maps into the oem navigation system.

currently I mount an iPad mini and use Gaia...and use my iPhone for google maps.

short of a replacement head unit, is there a way to load gpx files of forestry roads or updated road maps into the stock head unit/navigation on a 200?

Doesn't mean it can't be done, but I haven't seen a post about successfully uploading off-road maps on the OEM screen.

My guess is they were writing about updating road maps via the SD card slot. The current map software depends on the model year of your truck. For '16+ models the newest map was released in Nov 2020 and the Toyota part number is 86271-GN8LC-20.
