Hey guys,

I just picked up a 2013 LX 570, and I need a few OEM interior parts:

- Rear Hatch Pressurized Supports
- Middle Seat Flip Up Armrest doesn't latch because both clips are busted

I've been away from Toyota stuff for a while, but excited to get rolling on building this up. Back when I did my LX 450, I recall there being a go to OEM part's guy, but I couldn't recall who it was. Thanks in advance for the help,

Chris

Looks like I'll need to find a junkyard center armrest...doesn't look like they sell the slips that hold the lid down for the center armrest in the middle row. Does anybody have or know anybody with a tan center armrest they need to get rid of, by chance? Or figure out another way to fix it, possibly?

At this point I have been buying OEM parts when there is a dealer having an online parts sale. Usually online prices are already discounted then during the sales there is an additional 20-25% off with free shipping.

Depends on location, but my local Toyota dealer (Stevinson Toyota West) has a robust parts website where I order stuff. The online price is generally cheaper than in-person, and then I select in-store pickup and stop by to save on shipping. I've gotten shockingly good deals on a lot of part through them. But not everything. If I don't like their price, or the item is showing as unavailable, I've had good luck with Partsouq in UAE.

So check out a few local toyota parts desks and just see what their prices look like. FWIW, there are probably 5 toyota dealerships within a reasonable drive from me, but Stevinson is the only one with decent prices, so YMMV.

I also have 13 lx. I can get most mechanical parts from Toyota dealership mentioned m.

I order Lexus specific parts from belle lexus. They do run sales but majority of parts are already discounted.
This is rear hatch struts. One of my favorite fixes.

I usually search the part number, then cross reference a few online toyota dealers. Make sure you get shipping calculated (or better look for someone offering free shipping) because sometimes the shipping charges vary wildly. Some of my favorites that I have used are: Camelback Toyota; Olathe Toyota; and BAM Wholesale.

My local Toyota dealer has middle of the road online pricing and no "pick-up in store" option. When I've priced them through the parts counter they are full retail+ so I resort to other online outlets.

@OGBeno is the person you are probably talking about. I believe he is retired from the parts game now.

For parts diagrams I find Partsouq to be by far the best resource. If the part is small (or massively overpriced in USA so that expensive shipping is still better) then Partsouq is a great resource. Usually much better place to get clips, bolts and nuts from as long as you need more than 10 parts or so. They also post what their stock is online so you know if they have it or not.

Some parts are best ordered directly from Japan (suspension globes for example), but usually those web sites are a little harder to deal with.

The USA dealer parts sales are usually about once a quarter for a couple weeks. It does vary from this sometimes, that's not a hard and fast rule. Serra and Fred Anderson are generally the cheapest prices normally and even more so when the sale is on.

In the case where you need a Lexus specific part, just expect to pay out the nose. There are a few dealer sites and sell at a discount.
