^^^^ Ok, (1) electric fuel pump along frame is ok, if carbureted your lower pressure fuel pump shouldn't get too hot. (2) and (3) Your aftermarket sender with Dakota Digital dash unit is great, Dakota programable to any sender I'm told. (4) Always best to not tie rear tank into the evapo system, you won't be happy with the way it works, nor will you ever know how much gas you have (long explanation, don't want to go into it now). Best to merely switch from one tank to the other, both having matching sending units at a full 12 volts, with "double pole-double throw" switch that switches tanks AND senders at the same time with one throw of the switch- - -easy deal.
