sup fellas,

while at home and cruiser-less, i have started workin on a clemson mafia decal/logo that we can all toss on our cars and various belongings.

initial idea was a tiger paw with crossed wrenches behind it and gothic type reading clemson mafia on top and bottom, kind of in a semi-circle (i'll get pics up as soon as i can get my laptop to stop crapping out on me, ha ha)

then i stumbled across a cool sopranos font, so i figured i could toss that in there somewhere (the r is a pistol just like in the show = baller)

i thought about an 'exclusively land cruisers' underneath the design in the sopranos font...

anything else anybody would like to see? (birfield, bezel, etc...)
i figured a crossed wrench and birf would be cool...i just have to whip up some birf line art.

i figure i'll get razor to cut us some vinyl decals and we can just pay him cost + shipping + whatever he wants extra.....

i'll also make several high quality digital files suitable for anything internet/computer related

SUGGEST AWAY, PLEASE

Malph................... yo da man, I think the soprano font and tiger paw would be killer, I would go with just to crossed wrenches keep it simple............. but whatever the final design is I will take 10, I think it will be awesome....................

Good idea! I definitely want one. Don't forget the land grant heritage of the university....should have a cow in there somewhere? It would of course be a cool cow. Perhaps the swine center could contribute. Sorry, an ounce of pretension is worth a pound of manure!

'exclusively land cruisers' has 2 r's and a capital L....all three pistols

i could do the 'f' in mafia as a pistol as well, shouldn't be anything i can't do after rasterizing all the font in photochop.

yeah, and give me some ideas abt what else you want....i mean, i don't have to stop at one sticker/design

I haven't been inducted in the mafia yet but i like the idea. I'll def put it on the wagon and sport it like no other. Keep it up Malph!

I like the idea of a sticker I would display it proudly on my nonrunning cruiser and the mazda. I think we should incorporate the bezel into the logo. The bezel just has a cool look to it.

i like the bezel as well....but no 55, 6x, 8x, 10x inclusion with that....

(i'm workin on it, don't worry)

I dont want you putting 55 or 60 or 80 or 100 or anything else in it. Especially not 55 though you have to own one for that.

whoa....mr. big stuff, ha ha.

i was just sayin something that could encompass ALL land cruisers, not just the 40 series would be really cool i think...

and i'll get my 55 sometime, don't worry....chopped, bobbed, bruised, and beaten....

If I buy the parts pig once I strip everything I want there will probably be enough left for you to chop and bob and since theres no engine you could drop in a v8 real easy.

sounds interesting....

so when are you goin to buy the parts rig? some weekend when you can make it down there, or have you not decided if you're goin to do it yet?

My plan right now is to stop by on the way home from Clemson next weekend. Since I drive right past Newberry. I have to call the guy sometime this week. Then I will try and set something up with him. I need to try and coordinate with JP about using his dads vehicle maybe. And hopefully Alan will let me use his trailer. Not until like July though probably just because I have to get my money situation better set first.

Yeah malph did you whip up anythign yet. I still want to see a bezel with a tiger paw in place of the toyota myself. But whatever I'm sure it will be tight.
