i'd hoped to install the MAF flip kit this weekend whilst installing new leaf springs. i thought i should check to see if all the parts are there this evening. unfortunately the bushings that reduce the effective size of the hole in the axle spring plate to match the head of the spring pin wasn't there as promised.

email exchange with MAF a couple weeks ago assured me an OME bushing meant for this exact purpose when eliminating the vibration isolation bracketry would be included in the kits. lesson learned i guess.

so, anyone know the part number? anyone know a hardware store fix?

i could leave the original bracketry in place till the bushings arrive, at least i won't totally waste the help of the friends i lined up.

thanks all

Find a nut that's close, grind/drill to fit?

SteveO talked about in this thread with a part number.

Doug is right about trimming up a nut but might be tricky.

I think the spacers are only required on the rear axle so maybe you could do the front and then wait to do the rear and order them.

Goodluck

thanks doug and kevin

the part number is nice, might get lucky with a 4x4 shop in the area.

fj62 has the isolators, therefore the larger hole, on both ends

edit: need to go check the both ends claim...

I believe that this is a Man-a-fre specific part, probably won't find it locally (but a machine shop could probably whip some up, maybe using the stock spring collars as a template?). I had to order mine separately. Why they don't include these with the flip kit I don't know.
