1992 HDJ81 4.2L Turbo Diesel (Right-Hand Drive) – 82,115km (51,024 miles)
Price: $33,000

Selling my 1992 HDJ81 with 51k miles. Vehicle is located in MA but was taken off the road in the winter. Frame is in awesome shape (better than my 2017 Tundra). Front and rear Harrop e-lockers. So yes, triple locked. Chromoly axles. Mechanically it is in awesome shape. Have fender flares, just never put them on. Also have an awning I can throw in if interested. Center console fridge works great and have the ice cube trays.

Maintenance
  • New 12v starter (2022) – converted from 24v, still have original starter
  • Timing Belt (2021)
  • Water Pump (2021)
  • New AC (2021)
  • Knuckles (2021)
  • Valve cover seals (2021)

Upgrades
Misc
  • Have fender flairs – just never put them on (see pic)
  • Have manuals (see pic)
  • Awning
Issues
  • Windows work but are super slow. Needs new seals. Driver window is actually pretty decent.
  • Vents are loose. Passenger side one is broken but there.
  • Radio antenna is bent
  • This is an offroad vehicle. It has scratches and the bumpers have some bumps and bruises.

Some frame pics. Rest are on the Facebook link. That's dirt/mud near the wheels. Cleaned best I could but back / neck are bad so tough to really get under there.

Question…..is my math correct? 51,000 miles, 32 years old. 1600 miles per year? Or did the truck sit and not move for a few years…..here and there?

I can't tell you what it did in Japan, over here it didn't get used a lot. Just for off-roading trips, about 3 or 4 per year.
