Well after two months of working on it. Stripped down, sanded, and painted its finally useable. Paint is not to spec. It matches the country around here. I'll be doing some mods in the future. Thanks for all the info on this site.

I think it looks great!!!!

Even though not to spec, I think you did a good job with the desert camo pattern.
Your 101 is nice and ready to roll. Good job!!

Did you attach the shovel mount to the fender or body, and how? Also, did you paint the leaf springs as well?

I stripped the leaf springs with a wire wheel. The shovel is held with Quickfists to the fender.

nice!

That looks like the M series trailers we slapped to heeps with a pintle in the USMC many yrs ago. Your rig looks great!! I love trailers!!

Well I couldnt leave it the way it was. I built a lid, had the local welding shop bend the metal, welded a rack onto it and some front protection. Only thing left I really want is a spare tire holder. Im hoping the tongue is long enough after adding front tubing

Pics are coming up next

Well here it is. Its ready for 4 days In the Jarbidge mountains.

Bottle opener and the long pvc tubing is a fishing rod holder

Man I'm jealous, both of the trailer and the Jarbidge trip. Maybe you could write up a trip report with a few pictures and post it up? I know myself and the rest of the guys in BBCNN would be interested.

looks nice, maybe to much air in tires or not enough weight on the trailer

Trailer is empty, fuel empty, I havent pulled it after new hub, tire swap. Ill probably check it out full this weekend

Will do. Im probably going to film some elk herds in the area. Also plan on doing some fishing. Its going to be one of those trips where I end up where I end up

Again thanks to everyone on this site for ideas and advice!
