Here's the finished and installed product. Installation wasn't that difficult, just nerve racking when it came to drilling holes into the fender and A pillar. I'm impressed with the fitment and quality of the snorkel and would totally recommend it to anyone.

It's been awhile since I've posted on here. A lot of changes have taken place with my build. It's been a little over a year since I purchased this luxury rig. Since my last post, I've added a skid plate, a roof rack, a spring spacer, new center caps for my Method wheels, an awning, courtesy lights, fire extinguisher and accessory mount, a fridge and a cabinet. It's been so much fun to drive this rig. My plan is to post photos and a review of my improvement.

My chronological order for this build has been lost... I did a bunch of things in such a short period of time. We went on a 12 day trip in the Eastern Sierras. On previous trips I had became irritated with coolers and constantly having to buy ice, double bag food so that it wouldn't get soggy or water logged. So I purchased a Dometic CFX75 Fridge/ Freezer. Perfect for a family of 4. One side was used for drinks and the other stored our food. I didn't stress about ice, water or storage. I purchased the fridge, slide and bag. I built a cabinet to house the fridge and will soon build a drawer for it.

Installed these Wheeler Offroad bumpstops. These are perfect for off road use, however they may limit a little bit of my up travel. Unfotunately I didn't take any measurements before or after. Here's a video of my install and a little paved road review.

My tailgate insert was super nasty and soiled. I've been looking at some ways to replace the tailgate insert. I ended up purchasing a Mountain Hatch tailgate insert while I attended the Four Wheel Mag Adventure Expo in Orange County. The panel looks great and the installation was easy. I totally recommend this to anyone looking to replace their tailgate insert. Here's a short video of the installation.

I was looking for something like that to replace the broken cardboard in my hatch cover. However, biggest problem for me is that slippery surface. I take my dogs everywhere in the truck having them potentially slip and hurt themselves by falling out of the (especially with my eldest who is 15 and I normally pick up to get out the truck but sometimes beats me to it) is something I don't want to risk.

The slippery surface was actually something that I was wondering about it, so thanks for pointing that out. Definitely nice for sure, but bummed it won't work for me.

Yeah I understand what you mean. I have a 16 year old border Collie. He car ride days are almost over. There’s a few options out there. Glad I could help.

That would work pretty good. You could make a cool design, like we did back in the day with skate boards.

I was pretty tired of those halogen head lights and went with an LED replacement. I wasn't necessarily interested in breaking the bank or modifying the headlight housing so I opted for LED replacements from LasFit Auto Lighting. I was pretty impressed with how bright the light is and that they have a dust cover that actually fits. Below is a video of the install and review. Let me know what you think.

Appreciate the time you took to record and edit the installation video. I was previously running the lasfit led lights in my 100 and was really happy with the significant upgrade in output at such a reasonable price point.

Looks like a super easy install like the LC version. Mister Memo on YT did the same recently on his LC and looks like they are pretty similar output and whatnot.

Here's the thing, at least for the LC, reflector housings are NOT meant for LED/HID/XENON bulbs, they are meant for halogen bulbs because of the way the disburse light.

As someone who has sensitive eyes at night to oncoming traffic, these LED/HID kits that fit into reflector housings do nothing more than scatter light all over the place instead of focusing it based on the filaments output pattern. This tends to blind oncoming traffic and cause people with sensitive eyes to have to look away while driving. Please PLEASE be careful while you are running these. Too many people think that this is just a simple upgrade that brings your headlights into the modern era for cheap, when really there are severe detriments to those around you. All these jackwagons in their super lifted F250s/2500s/etc. that think it is cool to do upgrades like this end up doing nothing more than blinding those around them.

If this is your daily driver, please keep them off during the day (I know a lot of guys don't run the DRLs) and try to avoid driving at night.

Yeah, refrained from installing these on my LX because I know I'd be blinding people, but also don't have $400+ right now to do the h1 conversion with Morimotos.
