Brand new ones in Florida on cars.com for 110k.something has to be wrong with it
Nothing wrong I think. It is just a demo model with close to 3kmiles. It is a 3 row, so I am out. Even if a 3row would be fine with me, I do not think only $10k of a discount (in a 6 figure purchase) would justify buying a demo model that who knows how much was abused. Also, being a Mercedes dealer it would not even be a CPO. Maybe at under $100k would make sense IMO.something has to be wrong with it
Lexus CPO Program extends the warranty beyond the factory warranty. See below:Why would you need CPO? Still would be covered under factory warranty
If you want a low mileage 200, they are going for so much that, unless you are a die-hard 200 fan, I would argue you would be better off by going with a 700OT for $107k. Brand new, under warranty and 200-replacement-cachet is hard to beat.I’m stuck between this or waiting for a low mileage 200 to show up. These are not selling well in my area, 119k msrp and down to 107k
Please keep posting your impressions. My plan so far is to replace my beloved 200HE with a 2row OT and would love to hear more. The last thing I want is to trade my HE (which I bought before Lexus launch the OT, so I had plans to be buried with it) and be underwhelmed by the OT. Does not look like as far as I heard, so I am hopeful. Have a deposit for a 2row here in Texas.OK, I’ve had mine about a week now and I will say it’s better in many ways than the 200 series although I still appreciate the simplicity of the 100 and 200 comparatively. One thing I really have not come to terms with yet though is the seat bolsters are too high and too narrow as compared to the either of the other two vehicles. No matter how its adjusted the seat position always seems different and the bolsters make my butt cheek sore. This is kind of odd because it’s nothing I would’ve picked up on the test drive unless it was for at least 45 minutes to an hour. But now after driving it every day for a week I love nearly anything about it except for this one thing and it’s a real pain in the ass. And I’m not a big guy, 6’ 200 lbs. help.

i know. Lexus is letting me take one out for an extended test drive and will see how the kids like the rear seat. The fact the 2nd row can not slide back like the 200 concerns me. Also I’m not sure how Lexus treats warranties when you start tossing on mods. Either way I’m waiting for the 3 row delete ones to show up. If a gray 200 HE pops up then I’ll have to make a choice. If you want a low mileage 200, they are going for so much that, unless you are a die-hard 200 fan, I would argue you would be better off by going with a 700OT for $107k. Oh, well. If you go the HE direction and don't mind a white one with around 45k on the clock, hit me up and PM in 4 or 5 months.I agree.

Thoughts as compared to the 200 in no apparent order:Please keep posting your impressions. My plan so far is to replace my beloved 200HE with a 2row OT and would love to hear more. I thought that too when seeing pics. Also, that start/stop button waaaay up there is even more awkward. Most of the controls are fairly easy to access but both the volume knob and on/off button are integrated into the top screen which is kind of awkward as opposed to the simplicity of the 200.
I am more of an athletic slimmer build, so I think the seats will be fine for me. I saw one of the journalists reviewing mentioning a "cockpit-like" feeling. I guess that's what you are feeling too, like a more snug feeling when compared to the 200 seats, which are like big thrones (I love that though),The seats are more comfortable in a way and then less in other ways. They are more form fitting if you are into that sort of thing and have more adjustability. The massage function seems more of a gimmick than anything.
Oh man, I hold at 6pm all the time. The steering wheel is nice enough but no handhold at the 6 o'clock is lame.
Yeah, that's why I am waiting for the 2 row. Also, don't really need a 3 row and I am glad. I think people that really need a 3 row are in a pickle between accepting that compromised cargo area for 2 seats that do not really work for anyone other than kids and buying something entirely different that will never have the same capabilities of the OT.Of course the rear cargo space is abysmal. Far smaller than the 200 behind the 3rd row and where the 3rd row is folded there is quite a large space between the 2nd and 3rd row where stuff can fall into. This may not be as much an issue with the 2 row version.
Gadammmit! No dual visors. No split gate.
How so?Honestly this makes me think of the 250 a bit differently.
Primarily simplicity and seating position.Great write up. Thanks
