Hey dude, hopefully this thread is still active. I just bought a 2015 LX (yet to be delivered) and was interested in doing a backbone myself. Do you happen to have any pictures close up of where you backbone mounts onto the roof? I know the LX has different mounting points than the LC (two per side instead of 3) but I'm assuming those little covers on the LX where the middle mounting spot would be, are easy to remove.

The LX and the LC have the same mount points in the body so it works just as advertised.

Looks great- just what I want on my '14 LX.
Did you reinstall the rubber strips in the recessed channel after you finished the job? If so how?
What is really weird is that the Rhino Rack customer service people couldn't tell me definitively whether or not their Backbone system would fit on the LX and their website says it does not fit- go figure!
