I am having 2005 LX470 and the car stuck in L only on the rear side only, the front side works fine. There are no codes and when I tried to read the rear height sensor the reading is strange. Even with the vehicle sitting at the lowest position the sensor reads 55 mm (2.1").
I opened the rear height sensor and the readings from the OBD2 are below:
Original height Sensor end to end : 50 mm to 180 mm (2.0" to 7.0")
I bought another used Sensor from the scrap yard and it also ready pretty much the same
Scarp yard height Sensor end to end : 30 mm to 160 mm (1.2" to 6.3")
Now what I understood from the above is that the computer thinks that rear is already high so it doesn't lift the rear. Now I disconnected the senor and the car is now lifted to certain height.
The new sensor is pretty expensive and I am not sure that the new sensor will solve my problem or the money will just go to the drain.
