LX470 2000 shocks

They should both be compatible for for a US lx470. Dunno if there is anything different in up north but I assume they are the same. The one thing I know is that a foreign market RHD IFS Gas 100 at a junk yard had torsion bars that were too short. I personally am running 2865 springs and ARB 303001 bars.

Turns out I’m gonna have to get OME2865 too since it’s a early 2000 model so 2866 won’t fit. My first choice was ARB 303001 but sway away aren’t only cheap but thicker too which is why I’m considering those.
hows the ride for you with that combo, Is it too stiff or okay for every day usage?

Not sure where you get that from, but 866 fit fine. Although, they’re a progressive spring: 240 lbf/in at the top end, progressing to 300 lbf/in at the bottom end.

There’s apparently little size difference among those two not sure how much of a difference would that make?
Spoke to rocky road and checked on various websites too for fitting. 2865 comes up as compatible with 2000 model but not the 2866. Suggestions? Lol

Thanks for posting the chart. I’m gonna go with 303001 and 2865 for coils. Sway away might get little too stiff
