I could not find one available for purchase and spoke to a Mud vendor. The suggestion was to get an new thread going to gauge interest for a potential group buy. I'd be in for 3x of the units for98-02 LX470s.
Surely there are several of us out there that are fed up with the shallow and virtually unusable cup holders.
If you guys would like us to make some 100 series specific cup holders than please speak up. We tried this 4-5 years ago but the interest was rather weak so we moved on. Maybe the interest for more functional cup holders has grown? For us to just break even on our cost to develop we typically have to sell at least 20 units. If we can get interest close to that then I will commit to the project. You can look at our 200 series cup holders to get an idea on what we would be doing. Here are links to those.

There you go. Looks like someone has this covered. The 100 series market is WAY too small for two of us making cup holders. The demand was barely strong enough for one. No need to mess up his sales and probably my own by bringing another product to market in a tiny market. Too many options can end up making both product lines not profitable and killing both. Been there, done that. Will not repeat that mistake.

I got some messages and emails asking me to make these and someone sent me a link to the .stl file that a few have used. Here's the deal, the changes that I would make to that stl file to make it more functional and more printer friendly are the exact changes @CruiserDM made. Based on the print time, labor, shipping, and material use; his price point is right where I would need to be. There is no reason for me to make an almost identical cup holder for the same price. He seems to be doing a great job with it based on his Etsy reviews and there is no need for another vendor to jump in here. If @CruiserDM decides to stop making them, then at that point I am happy to step in and continue the product using the existing .stl file out there with some needed modifications. Hopefully that all made sense. Vendors need to take care of each other the best we can within this small community. If we over compete in some of these tiny niche markets then we end up killing our own little business and then destroy the aftermarket options for the enthusiasts here like me. I'm a vendor but also an enthusiast who loves to build my rigs and use all the cool options that our vendors have brought to market through this forum.
Just ordered one as well. Thanks, Brad for what you do. I was wondering why I didn't see anything on your site for the 100. I have bought 2 of the cupholders for my 80s, but I like that you don't want to step on someone else's toes for a few extra bucks.
