Looking for a clean locked White LX450 that is close to stock. Or has a proper full 4" lift. I'm not going to build another truck with rust so clean body and frame is most important along with PM or recent brake and Birf's. Prefer stock bumbers, flares, and running boards. I live in IN so if a clean one shows up I'm more than happy to have it shipped.

I have a 1997 with 168,000 miles and in very good condition. It has factory lockers. Everything works. Regular oil changes and maintenance. Never driven off road - highway miles only. Rig is in Palm Springs, CA - just brought it down from Seattle. No rust.

I know where there a clean 97 LX450 with 123k. Non locked, ARB front, I think it might have stock height OME' s and very well maintained. He is stuck at 9k.

Check out my ad and let me know if it sounds interesting. I could swap out parts like wheels/ tires and pull the winch if u have $8000 to work with. Mine is the toyota LC, not the lexus version...But it is white and definitely clean

I have a clean 96LC non-locked I'm driving right now but thanks for the heads up.

I had a semi built 93 (see sig) really looking for the LX. Thanks though.

If you don't mind Limited Slip or ATRAC, that may actually be the way to go. They ride SOOOO nice!

I guess the question is, do you really need factory lockers on your next truck?

Need- No, want-yes. I absolutly hate getting stuck in anything, a muddy field or snow drift. I've done pretty well with the 2 foot method on this rig but lockers are so handy and the best rescue/climbing tool. I have a specific build in my head for my next one and it will likely be a lifer vehicle for me. 213_dan I know we have been e-mailing and I'm temped to take the springs, shocks, and arb off of yours and put it on my current one to sell and then build yours.
I think it might be easier to add lockers to the 470 than turbo the 450.

I was just in Charleston a couple weeks ago, looks like this thing has 212+k on it. Maybe next time I'm down that way I'll look at it, but it does look clean.

Bump Still looking, White LX450 stock, locked, clean. Small lift and 285's is ok, looking for stock body, runing boards, flares etc. Brake work and PM would be nice.

I also have a 96 FZJ80 that I'm willing to trade ~$4.5k It's red and has 183K miles on it. It is my DD and runs very well, much better than my 93 ever did.

The bad and full disclosure
NO LOCKERS
Clean interior and paint for 90% of the truck. The front passenger flare the clear coat is pealing. The hood has a few small rust spots that started as rock chips I'm sure. The driver rear door power lock motor is weak and wont unlock or lock the door but it works manually just fine. The check engine light is on for the o2 sensors. The passenger running board is bent a little. It does burn/leak ~1 quart of oil every thousand or so miles. Is has slight valvetrain rattle on cold start up for just half a second.

I am currently in India and no where near the truck but there are quite a few maintenance records in the glove box. I honestly don't know much about this truck I bought it with 175k but I bought it to have a nice running cruiser to replace the 93 that got hit, to get me through the winter. I wash it regularly in the winter to keep the salt off.

Bump for you. Maybe the desmog of the '93 wasn't such a good idea?

I wouldn't say that, it ran smooth but lacked power from the begining, I just figured that's what everyone on here kept talking about these things being under powered.

I'd be willing to throw cash on top for a 100 series or maybe trade for something else FJ40?. Let me know what you got.
