Hi - looking at an LX 470. It is a 1999 and the dash on the passenger side has large brown spots - some kind of wear - not sure if it is the sun or whatever, but they are ugly. Any idea if there is a low cost solution? If not, any idea what it would cost to replace that dash?

Lookup you’re local FibreNew franchise, if one is available. They can repair leather, plastic, color fade etc.

I have two spots on mine. Looks like from sitting in the sun too often in the Texas heat. I didn't realize there is a company like FibreNew. I bought a replacement dash from a local part out that looks good. Though, it will take a long time for me to get up the nerve to replace the entire dash.

I may check in to getting the spots removed before switching out the dash.

You can try SEM color coat for at least a short maybe long term fix.

I bought a dash... It's been sitting in my garage for like 3 weeks now. I'm just not thrilled about doing the swap.

I'd avoid it if possible.
