My Aux Tank control unit no longer will show Empty.

AT first I thought the sending unit float might be stuck, but that's not the case.

I emptied the tank, removed the drain plug and put a bore sight in there, and one can see the sending unit float ball is on the floor of the tank.

(see Attached)

It there a way to adjust the controllers resistance reading to match the float?

The controller reads as follows:

I'm very intermittently having the same issue. If I'm reading the manual correctly, as resistance DECREASES the gauge reads a lower fuel level. Since the gauge is resistance-based my plan was to check all the wiring connections to see if something has happened that would add resistance and not let the gauge read fully empty. The only bummer is this will likely require dropping the tank. I just dug out the manual for the gauge and there is no mention of calibrating/adjusting the controller or the sending unit though...

Also having issues with the LRA sending unit. Seems to give the right signal at start up then goes to full tank (four lights) and stays there when I start driving.

anyone know a better replacement sending unit for the 24 gal Aux LRA tank?

Mine reads from full to empty ok, well at least what I believe is "empty" and I beige nothing in-between other than that I'm between full and empty
The minor issue is on the LC side. The main tank fuel gauge lags so much in showing the fuel has transferred that I can be hesitant to believe that it really transferred until about 30+ miles later, my first throughs are did I pump it out onto the ground? I add instant to injury, the onboard consumption computer can take 100 miles before it even registers that my range to empty have been increased. Both of these issues make one on edge when range away from a gas station is really really important.

This is how my gauge works as well. I begin my fuel transfer at just shy of a 1/4 tank and in about 15-20 min the main tank gauge will register the new fuel and I shut off the aux pump. I set a timer to remind myself as I forget to turn it off fairly often.
