Dan just because we are down to 5 out of the 15 original interested parties does not mean all is lost, but it is kind of a let down yeah. I'm going to see what those people want to do. I can salvage some of the price or we can hang on and try and add people in a couple of months.
If we can't do a group buy on what has to be one of the most common 80 defects there is then I guess we are all skinflints. I won't even bother posting the legwork I did on the 50% discount for OME lifts

OK this is turning into a lesson in commerce. In going back to try to figure out a 5 person group buy price somebody let something slip and I have now figured out that neither of these firms is actually selling full leather seat covers for the prices I was quoted. They are actually part vinyl.
The Leather Seats package is in reality their "Deluxe" package which means that for the front seat, all the front facing panels are leather but the sides and backs are vinyl. For the middle seat only certain facing panels are leather. For the rear seat nothing is leather. To get all leather front seats add $170.
For the NWleather guys same deal. Add $150 to get all leather front seats.
This is not so bad if you consider that the factory OEM front seat backs are vinyl and I am suspicious about the lower hanging skirts too.

Hey Folks, I have decided to pick this thing up again towards the end of January. Christmas is in the way right now and I have not had time to check out the local shop, plus I think it is possible there will be a few looser wallets after the yuletide break. I will repost and PM people when I get it started again.
