Truck: 1978 FJ40 2F
Worked on a bound up window yesterday on the driver's side and discovered over the years the felt had bound up when rolling the window down. That combined with rust eventually rusting out the bolt connecting the inner guide to the door and eroded the metal. Both the lower window guide channel and felt jammed the window in the down position.
Simple fix was to use a large washer to replace the missing door metal. The lower window guide channel is now secured, however, the window rattles when rolled down due to the missing guide felt.
I'm having difficulty locating the felt used for this window guide. Any help is appreciated.
