This years boil will be held at Santee St. Park Oct. 7-9
I have reserved primitive group site #2 (The sign says scout camping)
You can drive right up close to the campsite, or camp in the car.
It is up on a high bluff (close to restrooms) next to a boat ramp.
We have camped there many years before, and never had more that 1 other group near us.
The cost will be $25.00 per person, and will include camping, Saturday night supper, and a continental breakfast on Sunday morning.
There will also be a raffle on Saturday night.
Please let me know if you are interested in coming.

Yes, drive right up. This is a very bicycle friendly park also, the park store is about a mile away.
There are also 2 different campgrounds with electric if you desire, but I would like to have everyone camp close. One campsite is on the other side of the boat ramp, and the other is over by the park store.

Sounds like fun.

I'll be able to stay Sat. nite. I think they're having my niece's 2nd birthday fri. nite. Sounds like fun. Can't wait. Hope there is a good turnout. Would be great to see everyone!!

Kids free...

Planning on it

Unless something happens to my work schedule i plan on getting there for at least Saturday and Saturday night. Now if only the gods of scheduling don't mess it up.:)

It'll be good to see you again, Doc....

Anyone else??

Hope to see you there!!

We had a great time at the Low Country Land Cruiser Shrimp Boil! The food was awesome! The weather and scenery was spectacular! Santee state park is really a nice campground. A great place to have the Boil. The wife also really enjoyed the scenery, food and friends! She's still talking about the awesome Shrimp boil!!! and the friends! The fellowship with friends was great! Sorry that we didn't get to see more people but it was great to hang out with everyone that was there! Can't wait for the next get together! Hope to see more people there!

Scott it was wonderful the weather could not have been any better just a hint of fall in the air and the lake was lapping up on all the mussel shells. I'm sure the catfishing would be awesome. So nice to see your better half again. I was sure that I had run her off for ever, glad I was wrong. I was also happy to see david's better half and the dogs as well. Can't say enoughf about the boil dang it was sooooooo good I didnt eat again till monday morning and that is not normal for me at all.

As always wishing the club and all cruiser heads best wishes and those of you who did not come sure missed a good time. :bounce:

Just a note of thanks to David for all his work on this event as far as I know it was a one man show and he pulled it off in spades. Salt and Butter would have been nice however....:p:flipoff2:

We had a great time. Good friends, good food, and, as always, always cruiser talk.
I enjoyed the walk on the beach, and the lily pads are doing fine, still blooming.
The dogs seemed to enjoy it also, they slept all the way home.

See you guys at the boil next year!!!!
