Low Range Torque Wrench

I already have 1/2 needle one and 3/8 click style ( craftman & husky ) but I'm looking for a really small one, something to use in my hubs ..

Dunno what happen to me but I'm used to break those bolts, and I'm using 1/4 small ratchet .. well at the end I need one for those bolts .. at the hubs .. coz I have big problems measuring by hand the right torque of those and obiusly I can't do the job with the bigger wrenches .. ( thought it will be worse ) so I'm looking for advices about low range torque wrench ..

Harbor Freight sells a 1/4" drive that measures in inch pounds. Not the best tools on the planet but I've found them to be okay for stuff like this that gets used occasionally by a shade tree mechanic.

I don't need NASA stuff .. just something that knock my head right before I start breaking bolts .. ( and then start looking for extractor and loose more hours extracting the bolt )

I have the 1/4 and the 3/8 drive both are fine for the job you want to do.

I normally just use a 1/4 drive ratchet on the trail(if need be) and dont have any problems but that 1/4 drive is awesome around the house.

I don't have any experience with HF torque wrenches, but to me the low range torque is where precision matters. Personally I would spend a bit more for a torque wrench especially the lower range ones...

I already have a good Proto one .. what I'm looking for it's one 1/4 handy to use in my hubs .. I'm a champ breaking those bolts ..

since hub cap use 7ft-lb and hub body use 24ft-lb it looks like I'm looking for 5 - 50 ft-lb range ..

I happened to look at it today when I was cleaning up at putting tools away today.

the most I've found are ft pound and are 5 - 75 or 5 - 80 ..

I have just no luck with any 50 - 300 in pounds ..
