1. On any given day, I've got about 200 better things to do than worry about this.
2. For the most part, I try to give things a while to 'digest', rather than posting up the first thought that comes in to my head like I have seen some people do on this BB [not saying that about you at all, just saying] I will shortly be walking away from a very good deal on a transmission on principle that I needed a couple of days to sort out in my head as well. That's the way I roll.
3. I am CERTAIN that absolutely no packing materials escaped from the box the boosters were sent in, as I am certain that none was used. With that being the case, I would not expect to hold the post office responsible for this.
4. My rebuilder made it abundantly clear to me almost two years ago that while I should always be on the lookout for rebuildable cores, cores are no longer considered rebuildable once the plastic hub is broken, which is the part obviously broken in the pic.
5. I was heavily involved in getting a new FJ40 ready for an extended road trip over the last couple of months, which put dealing with this issue even further down the to-do list. There are several threads evidencing this if you care to research this.
6. Up until the second week of March, I was under the impression that you were going to 'make good' on this problem with the deal on the stock rims we discussed. Casey Campbell contacted you on my behalf a few times before he and I realized that this was not to be the case.
7. I have ONE THOUSAND better things to do with my 20 year track record in business than to put it on the line misrepresenting a fifty dollar transaction. I am totally prepared to walk away from this and let karma take care of it all. The ball is in your court. Send whatever refund you feel is appropriate to
