thought I had blown my head gasket, heard a pop then all hell broke loose, sounded like my exhaust was coming straight off the block it was so loud, no blue smoke though. upon further inspection I found the spark plug loose in my #1 cyllinder, plug wire was bent and real messed up, need to get an extension so i can get the plug out to check the threads. Anyway thats where I'm at with it, I would appreciate any helpful advice. Going to have to "shade tree it" myself.:frown:

Whoa!

I have nightmares about a sparkplug backing out, even though I've never experienced it.

Hang in there, see what's up, and post up pic's of what you find. We've got your back. ;)

FWIW. Check your jack tools . You hopfully have a factory spark plug wrench in there. Kinda looks like a breaker bar with the hex end and holes in the side on the other end. Then there is a little angled pry bar deal that fits through those holes. Voila factory spark plug tool!!!

Idk about the wire without inspection. But good time to change it all!
