Looking to purchase LC, found an 06 with 113k for $18k......

Should I do it? Its an 06 LC with 113k miles and it is listed for $18,000. I checked the carfax on it and it has regular maintenance reports so its been babied. I've read the forums and reviews but the age and mileage still kinda scare me, even though I know with LC its a non-issue. Scared to pull the trigger. Been needing a car for a while and was looking at getting as new as possible with low miles but then fell in love with LC.............

Can someone please give me their 2 cents?

If it's as good as you make it seem, I would jump on it real quick. Don't worry about miles and year. It's designed to have a 500K service life.

I bought my 07 with 125k sight unseen with no worries.

Thanks! I feel confident about it but my support circle is skeptical. But in their defense none of them seem to know anything about cars other than OLD=BAD and HIGH MILES=BAD

Then school them in the ways of the LC! I saw an article online last week that had a LC with the odom showing 600k.

They are not incinvible. They break too so keep in mind some of the repairs/maint are $$$

But saying that, my fleet consist of 96 LX450 207k, 98 LC 208k(120k engine), 00 GS300 120k, and 2003 ES300 252k.

Fyi I work on them all day and drove many of them with 150k plus miles. If properly maintained, they will like new. I cant say the same for 06/07 plus cars lol. The older ones are better.

Sounds like a good deal if maintained and repaired. Maintenace is higher on these vehicles, but 18k for the vehicle you'll get... You can't beat it with any other used car. FWIW, I got my wife and mom out of 2008's with half miles and into 98 & 99 LX's.

For what it's worth I just picked up well maintained and very clean 06 with 160k for nearly the same price! Oh and I did drive about 12hrs.

For me the recent year and lower mileage, combined with the price give me concern. Really give it a once over, get a pre-purchase inspection, look for any signs of an accident or flooded vehicle.

It's priced to sell so if everything checks I would jump on it.

That's cheap for an '06 with that low mileage. Get a thorough PPI done so you know what you're buying before you buy it!

Yep, I paid $24K for on 06 with the same mileage. I have not regretted it. It has been great fun.
You would have money left over for some repairs but do as the others say.

Do you drive an Audi or something? If so, you're jaded, 113k miles sounds like a s**t ton. In the our sick little world of Landcruisers, it's nothing.

If it checks out, it's a smoking deal. JUMP ON IT.
