Looking to purchase LC, found an 06 with 113k for $18k......

Its a 50k+ Msrp Toyota. Don't expect the maint cost to be similar to a Corolla...

Don't know what your budget is, but there's an '05 with 89k miles for $24k in the Dallas CL.

For what it's worth I just picked up well maintained and very clean 06 with 160k for nearly the same price! Oh and I did drive about 12hrs.

I dig that color. Clean!

Honestly at that price, it will be all but impossible to lose money. That said, that price is surprisingly low, but it would not surprise me if the Texas marketplace is different with "Jap scrap" perhaps being worth less. As others have recommended, I would absolutely have a PPI preformed. Also, has the truck always been in TX? If primarily a NE vehicle, it might partially explain the pricing.

The Texas marketplace doesn't view LC's or Japanese cars in general as "Jap Scrap". All The Cruisers I have seen in state sell fast and for a premium. I definitely would do a PPI on any LC that seems priced low.

In which case the price seems oddly low. Moreover, I did not say with certainty that was the case.
