Does the 09 have a different color option for the dashboard? Cause i know i saw it on Toyota website but I just wanted to make sure that they actually have it in stock. I am looking for one these days. Any good dealerships in So Cal you guys recommend? Thanks in advance

DTT255 might be able to give you a good so-cal recommendation....

as for the colors, I believe the tan and the gray have different dash colors if that is what you are asking...

Check website reviews before going to the dealership. Type the word "reviews" after the dealership name. This can be a big help when looking for a dealership you can trust.

Thanks to both of you. What i meant is there additional color other than the dark dashboard because the dark colored dashboard is not the best option for a land cruiser in the deserts of Saudi Arabia. I will check on the review, wish me luck in my hunt.

Maybe you can get a aftermarket dashboard mold that goes over the top. I think they cost between $200-500 in just about any color you want.

Why wouldn't you buy a Land Cruiser in Saudi Arabia? Seems silly to purchase one in SoCal, just to ship it to SA? Also, you have WWWAAAAAAAYYYYYYY better options in the middle east, probably even have different colour dashes??

Doesn't make sense to me.

Yeah, I'm confused with this whole CA --> SA thing...

It’s true we have a lot of options but considering the budget I have, I can buy a 5.7 from the US and send it back home and I will still have money for mods. I would rather buy a Manuel stick shift but the new 4.7 does not have that as an option. Plus there are no diffrent options for the dashboard. That is why everybody is complaining from the dark color.

Lets be honest...all dealerships suck :p

There were so few LC's shipped in the US, you still would have a better chance of good color options overseas....if they offered different colors.

I drove a gray 09 LC in Toyota of El monte yesterday and i have couple of questions.
Is it only me or what, the front end is not level. In other words, it’s leaning forward. Makes sense?
$72,000 is the price to own it. Is it a good price?

What you describe is known as "rake". It's the was almost all SUVs and trucks are designed. It can be eliminated with aftermarket suspension systems or spacers. $72K is a terrable deal. That's not even a deal, that's the price on the window sticker. Check the other threads for current pricing info...

Who did you talk to?? If you already talked to a salesman then you're SOL.

any advice will help buddy

Walk away... allow some time... then go back and talk to Frank Soh, Longo Fleet Manager. Call him first, ask the for the fleet price, if it's good... make an appointment, have your loan ready... and get ready to roll.

I bought my 2005 LC from him.. $500 under invoice... he's their top gun fleet sales manager -- over $1 million year over year.

If you've already talked to a salesperson, make sure you sneak in through the back door... otherwise you may start a civil war in El Monte, California.

If he balks, tell him you're a freelance photographer and use it for business.. :D

Good luck.
