So, this is not really off-road related, but I'm looking for recommendations on headlights for my 24 Hours of LeMons Miata and figured you guys would have plenty of experience with aftermarket lights. We aren't installing factory headlights, so these will be the only source of forward lighting. We're looking for something inexpensive (<$100 for sure, <$50 would be nice) and relatively small (i.e. not a 7" driving lamp) that can be attached to some custom bracketry. They don't need to be DOT approved.

I've seen a bunch online but have no idea if they're any good. It's also hard to go to the parts store and know if the lights you're buying are any good until you hook them up. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Disclosure: I struggled figuring out which section to post this in, sorry if this is not the appropriate section. Mods feel free to move.

Harbor freight, if you use a coupon, makes some oblong offroad lights for under $20. Check your offroad mags for the coupon. They actually put out a decent amount of light. They come with the wiring too.
