not knowing what's compatable, there is a guy who's selling 2 or 3 trans out of mine trucks in Billings MT.

they were listed on craigslist. fairly cheap, I thought.

I got one of them. They came off of 1HZs, but the pictures I've got (and he called them) W56s. I've never seen a W56 attached to a cruiser transmission, but he insists that what these are. I haven't gotten my hands on the one I bought yet to really check it out.

Tomorrow I'll post a pic of the one I got to help ID them... He had 3 others, and was only looking for $250 or so each. He absolutely insisted that they all were removed from 1HZ powered mine trucks.

Here's the pictures my brother snapped of it for me.

I won't have any more info on it until I gets back to New Mexico probably early next week.

He had 4, and I bought the one. Depending on what it actually is it very well may be for sale.

I;m interested if you don't need it. Is that a 5cylider engine in the picture or the 1HZ 6cyl?

Is the tranny a 5 speed?
