Wanted Looking for both FJ55 fenders

I scored a pair of fenders yesterday and a few other parts an hour and a half from my house. In just a few weeks I started with no lowers and now I have 3 lowers plus 5 uppers. I might sell one of the DS fenders eventually. I'll start a new post if I do

About 14 years ago i walked into my local Toyota and ordered the "last" OEM fj55 front right fender. Was kinda neat to see the last one show up in a Toyota Box from Japan and i wish i had snapped a pic. Lynchmob has that 55 now unless he has passed it on down the road.

JD-I may be some time in the near future breaking up '69 pig. Will let you know if your still looking for parts.

Will let you know. Selling the drive train first then the balance of the components after that. Having a major title issue... If the dmv declines my vehicle and closes the case on it, she will be chopped up.

Will keep you posted.

I'm ok on fenders now so 968shelbs can buy them from you. There are other parts I need and would buy from you. I will send you a message.

So I'm looking for parts for a rust replacement on a 55 that I'm doing. For those of you that are looking for parts there is a company in Australia that makes patch panels. Does anyong know anything about them? FRONT FENDER LOWER TOYOTA FJ55 LH | RP1025 **EDIT** Called the company and another 55 series stock out with no plans to replenish.

If I can get a few that may be interested I will make a bulk order. PM here or Ross@wolfcreekrodworks.com beats making them

I have a set of rust free 55 fenders from a 1977

Powdercoated.

$1000 plus packing, insurance and shipping

PM me

Thanks but I already got two fenders. I just need to weld in the bobm patch panels that I got from him.

Also there's a chance that I'm going to have custom fiberglass fenders made with a larger wheel opening that keeps the stock look with the lip around the edge. I'll be posting a new thread about this when I have more info for anyone else that runs 35" or bigger tires and might be interested in a set. A friend owns a large fiberglass company in the desert racing industry and it wouldn't be to hard to have them made.

@onemanarmy I got a set of the original SOR fiberglass fenders with side aprons that came with one of the trucks I got. If you're interested in them, shoot me a PM so I can send photos.

could you do the factory size ones too? SOR quit selling them.

Unless they are crazy expensive, I'd be in for a set.

How much were the SOR lower fenders? They still have the uppers listed for $226 each. Last time I talked to my friend he said it would be about $1500 to make the molds and he could cut that price in half if I got 5 or more people to buy pairs of fenders. And it would be about $450 or less for a pair of fenders (the custom lowers). So it doesn't sound impossible to make both stock and custom ones with a bigger wheel opening. It comes down to the demand for them. If SOR stopped making stock ones maybe there isn't much of a demand for those since most people want steel stock fenders?
I already know 3-4 people that are running bigger tires and would want the custom ones and I haven't even posted about it yet.

Another thought I had... If it wouldn't cost to much more what do you guys think about having the lower and upper fenders made together all as one piece? Of course that all depends on if the fiberglass company could do it. Not sure if the shape and mounting points of the upper and lower attached to each other would be an issue or not to make all as one piece.
