I may be interested in selling my 99. 150,000 miles and there's not enough room to list all the add ons and maintenance that's been done. Second owner purchased from a anal thinking physician in Charleston, SC a little over two years ago. ARB, OME Torsion bars and 865 springs, Bilstiens, rebuilt CV's, repacked front hubs, Amsoil in everything, second battery tray, 10,000# Smittybilt winch (never used), with 12 voltguy interior controls, Cobra CB, Yaesu 2900R Ham Radio with best antennas, all new OEM suspension bushings and arms, DRL switch, off road lights with oem switch, very good leather covered in Spector Off Road Tuff Duck covers front and 2nd row, third row seats, aux fuse box and 5- 295 Nitto Terra Grapplers with 7,000 miles. It goes on and on.

Oh! Very nice bhammapping custom sliders. New wheel studs and $10.00 each OEM lug nuts. Used only Toyota parts. Rear AC and Heat. Front OEM mud flaps.

All it needs is a rear bumper and heavier springs to accomodate the added weight. Got 6-8 Toyota oil filters, replacment logos for rear hatch, one gallon Toyota red concentrate coolant, OEM brake pads and new hardware including parking brake hardware, hoses and other stuff.

The way I'm working, don't have time to work on it or drive very much. I really regret that. It's Champagne Pearl in color. Looks almost new to most. Original glass except windshield.

Send me a message if you think you might be interested. Located in Irondale and will be there next weekend. If no one contacts me it will be a good excuse to keep it. "Sorry dear, no one wants it so it stays."

John

Maybe we need to do a three way swap?

In all honesty, I think its a bit too overbuilt for my needs as a daily driver / commuter. Sounds awesome and well maintained. I'm searching for more of a stock ~ maintained cruiser. Have at it.

That does look pretty good. Hard to tell until you see pictures. I've PM'd for a price and some more pics.

I'll be back in Bham late Friday and will send more pictures. If you're looking for one with fewer mods I suggest you don't consider mine and keep looking. No discount for having add ons you don't want to pay for. If is wasn't upgraded and was your typical LC with 150,000 miles you would be seeing asking prices of $9,500.00-$12,000.00. With good maintenance and no body repair a little more. Then consider the modifications. I have the original bumper and running boards if you want to take the ARB, winch and Matt's sliders off. Won't have a problem finding a home for them anyway. Remove radios, floor mats, second battery tray, aux fuse box and other items that add to value. I'll also get some used cheaper tires and sell the Nitto's to someone else.

I forgot something else, "NO RUST"!

It's for sale as it sits.

You are correct. That's a pretty heavy duty cruiser for my needs and I'm sure you will not have a problem finding it a good home. Thanks a lot for posting the possibility though, I really appreciate it and might be kicking myself down the road for not pursuing it.

You'll find one. Look around Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA. Good luck Pop.

Well, I found an '02 in Oklahoma with 130k miles. Got him tagged down at $12900. Service is perfect, comes up clean on carfax, toyota is showing 1 owner and all service that was needed at 30k miles intervals. Guys got a binder full of maintenance that comes with the truck. Come with a 3 month warranty. Thoughts, or press my luck further?

Sounds good. I personally like the 03 up for the 5 speed transmission. Does the 02 have the integrated nav? If not go for it.

No, unfortunately it has Nav. I've been hard pressed to find one without it as I understand it was pretty much standard on '02's and up. I'd really prefer one without it, as it's a $5k dealer replacement from reading the forums.

Talked to a lady in Hunstville who has an '00 LC with 106k for $16k from Autotrader. Man, she is unbelievably firm on that price too. Told her most banks don't do loans for vehicles > 10 years old, so she's looking for a cash buyer. In my opinion, that will be hard to find.

Good luck to her. Did it have service records and all?

No, but she was really proud that she did the 90k service at 67k miles for some reason. I was under the impression she thought that added value somehow.

Talked to that guy a while back about those. Maintenance was an issue on both. One of them was missing all of the headrests for no real reason at all. Seemed sketchy.

I have been on the phone with that guy all morning. Supposed to call me back.
