Hello Dave,

There may still be some product (aged perhaps) that they may still have and are selling since we only recently discontinued supplying product. As long as the batteries are not allowed to discharge on the shelf to below 12.0V and the batteries are charged at or prior to that point, they can be maintained for quite some time. All Sears DieHard Platinum batteries have the same basic labeling format. The noted label
0
is usually on the short side end of the battery cover with the M-YY ship date code format with M – Month and Y – Year. The other digits on the label represent the Sears Part number. In this case, a Group 35.

The ODYSSEY branded product is EnerSys private label product manufactured on the same lines to the same specifications as the Sears Platinum products. If Platinum batteries are not available from Sears then the same group sized ODYSSEY branded models would be the best choice as a replacement for the Sears Platinum batteries.

I hope this helps. Sincerely,

Kathy Mitchell

Well that's depressing. Guess I'll have to go directly to Enersys for my next set of batteries.

Agreed.... that or I will be going with Interstate.

yeah, I need a group 31......its either Odyssey or ? I am OK with a lead acid as long as its a big ole deep cycle

Check out Batteries + and the X2 Power batteries. I was surprised that they carry these. Warranty is awesome, 5 year free replacement.

those don;t look bad, seems they are a Northstar. They have a 27F that would work good in my 100, have a Odyssey Group 65(1750) now, its 10+ years old.

I had no clue we had a batteries plus around here, we do.
