Looking at a 2000 LC, is my offer fair?

Looks nice. I bought a 2000 at 260k for that same amount but had to do the 90k at a Toyota mech which cost $800. However, mine has over $10,000 in upgrades for off-roading and over landing so I would have looked longer. Will last you a very long time. Congrats.

Yea the whole crux of my situation is I sold my GS400 and needed to find the best LC I could before September within 2 hours since my wife who hates driving has to drive our 4runner back from wherever we get a LC from.. She gets bad anxiety and anything out of state is pretty much no go and don't have really anyone else that I could get quickly to drive me 150+ miles just to check out a LC. Forget flying out anywhere do not have that much extra cash for flight and gas back home. So I figured 2nd owner with records since 20k miles and almost all service done and caught up and a 2000 with ATRAC I could not pass up. Plus I can sell later on and look longer to maybe get a 03 in a few years :)
 
^^^ Good reasoning. With the major work done so recently, this is a good deal. Sounds like it is time for a build thread!

Yea I'll be doing one this time, never did for my 80
 
Sounds like you got a decent deal. I paid 10k for my 99 last year with 190k miles on it.

By far the best vehicle I could imagine for 10k. Mileage doesn't mean anything in these. With minimal maintenance there's little to worry about.

Enjoy the new ride and wear those miles like a badge of honor. :)

That's for sure! I drove a fresh, low mileage 1FZ before buying my LX. Wow, huge difference. Merging power FTW. If you're picking it up soon, I'm not too far from Bucks.

I am picking up sometime next week not sure when yet since I need to gather up the last bit of cash thats coming in for it.
 
Its official money is all together and pickup is Wednesday this week, I am happy as a clam and of course wife fell in love with this 100 so I'll have to get her a 100 in a year or two, darn women :)
