quad cab and low miles. Any issues with these as I'm not that familiar with them. What to look out for? Trying to get a carfax for it.

ok ... was a dbl cab Tundra available in 2000 ? I thought no??
I checked..04 was the first year for a dbl cab
At any rate... issues..front lower ball joints recall, 4.7 litre had exhaust manifold cracking issues, is an interference fit engine and has a timing belt..make sure it has been replaced or budget some $ to do it.

I don't think they were available in '00. Maybe around '02-'03ish. I know they existed in '04 because I had one once.
2000 would be an Access Cab (rear suicide doors). Double Cab was 2004+
Check Ball Joints (I think the recall was for 2001-2003)
Check front brakes. The 2000 had a smaller caliper and brake shoe that was prone to warping. There was a factory fix for that and the 2003+ had the bigger caliper/pad combo.
Check the transmission. The overdrive gear had a habit of shredding itself under load. Most that I've heard of did this before the 100,000 mile mark. Keep the fluid clean, run a good trans cooler, and don't tow heavy loads in O/D.
