Today at the NORRA Mexican 1000 Rally race here in Mexicali
'96 Land Cruiser team from Puerto Rico. Stock ride height, stock motor, everything is stock, except for the roll cage inside and front bumper.
Their first time to Baja I believe. I hope they do well

Hey guys. Sorry it took almost two years to reply. We did not know about this thread. Well we did not finish. our ignition died due to improper conection of a tach wire.

We made it to 40 miles from the finish on the 3rd day.

Our number was 787. we had all new back to oem standards. rebuilt engine, and catback 3 inch piping.

we had 0 lift, Ome springs and bilstein monotubes,

Our guy "forgot" to replace the original bumpstops and being 17 years old at the time...they dissapeared and allowed the front diff into the. crankcase...fun thing to find a brazer down at the bay of Los angeles. But we did. He did a hell of a job too.

Btw...we are doing this race again...same truck, a few changes!
