Just finished stitching mine. Great product! A few tips;
.) take your time. I think I took a couple of breaks and all in it was about 2 hours.
.) watch the YouTube video of theirs. The instruction sheet they send is pretty good.
.) make sure you remove ALL of the backing of the double back tape once you start stitching. If you don’t, it will be visible as a bump under the leather once you’re done.
.) do it outside on a sunny day. I tried it in the garage with portable lighting and my 60 year old eyes just weren’t happy.
.) the kit has 2X the amount of thread you need. Give yourself plenty for each section,
.) you will end up burning the thread with a lighter at the end of each section to seal it off. If you do this outside and it’s windy be careful! That thread is very flammable.
.) I stood next to the wheel in my car rather than sitting in the drivers seat.
.) constantly start your rig and turn the steering wheel into a good position for sewing. This was critical for me.

Have fun. It really looks great when you’re done. I used the dark gray kit.
