I just recently pulled the locking hubs off to replace lugs on rotors and discovered that there is a spring missing on the right locking hub mechanism (the FSM is calling it the tension spring). Any one know where to find just the sping, if at all available? I don't want to have to "sping" for an entire new or used mechanism if I don't have to. I checked SOR and they don't seem to list or sell any internal parts seperately. cruiserparts.net lists/sells the entire mechanism used for ~ $50... Don't know if they'll part the hub? Cruiser dan the parts-man?
I'm also missing the anti-rattle spings between the brake pads on both sides... Are these significant or necessary?

Get in touch with cruiserparts.net see if they have one, you may end up having to buy a whole used manual hub to get the part which isn't a bad thing to have if you want spare trail parts. I don't believe Toyota sells individual parts for the manual locking hub, it's all or nothing. Good luck to you.

The only replacement part Toyota sells for the manual hubs is the cap seal. I've tried.

I think a lot of Toyota truck hubs are the same. (Might also share with Nissan, but don't know much about that.) Local pick and pull might have just the part you want for dirt cheap.

I have heard that all aisin hubs share the same internals, or at least that the springs will interchange. I would give that a shot first. There was another thread about this recently, it might have some more info for you.
