Got a FF rear, 4.88 gears and an ARB locker residing in the rear of my cruiser now.

All that is left is the front axle and wire everything up. (and find out why an egr code is being thrown.

Special thanks to Brian for coming down and lending a hand, Heather for keeping Andrea busy and Lilly for singing songs to me while I was working. :grinpimp::beer::beer::beer::beer:

Yeah i'm stoked I should have it ready for the next ride. :grinpimp:

Fixed one of my Elec fans also so it doesn't overheat anymore.

Let me know if you need help Jerry. I'm getting fairly used to man handling axles in and out of rigs these last few months. :)

Can you tell a difference between rear discs and rear drum? How did you connect the parking brake?

glad to hear you made good progress. it's not the same without that monster on the trails.

Don't know yet. need to button everything up and do the front. parking brake was already attached to the axle.

I will be putting the FZJ80 brakes in the front also soon.

Are you talking about me or the cruiser :D

Nice! I was wondering what you were waiting for. :flipoff2:

Once you're done post up some observations. I want to do a FF swap one day.

I will let you know.... or you can just drop by and drive it :grinpimp:

I have an extra FF out of a 94 in my garage but i'm not too sure what i'm going to be doing with it yet. If you are interested let me know.

Which one? :D Have a build thread on the 80 in the 80 section here.

Glad you finally go the time to get that puppy in there. You are going to be unstoppable on the trails now. You are really going to enjoy those 4.88's as well and I liked those ARB's way more than my electric lockers. Always instant engagment. I just need to find some time and an excuse to travel up there and wheel with you now.
