So, about 3 weeks ago I ordered a lock n roll hitch from their website. I got a confirmation email, and the next day an invoice. I checked my bank acount and it showed as pending. Fast forward one week, and no contact from them. I emailed them multiple times and nothing. After several calls went unanswered I finally was able to speak to someone.

The gentleman I spoke with said the product I ordered will soon be discontinued, and they no longer keep them in stock.

When I asked why I had not been contacted about the issue, or my emails answered he offered a half ass apology and said he meant to let me know about it,but had not yet.

Pathetic in my opinion, I have decided to order from max coupler.

Just a warning if you decide to go with a lock n roll hitch.....

Looks like they have reverted back to the customer service they were known for in the past.......

Having owned and used both the LnR and latest gen Max Coupler, you will be very happy with the MC.

LnR is part of larger company. The coupler is a very small part of their whole business, and the rest of it appears to be Gov't contracts. Means that the couplers get treated like a red-headed step-child.

The Max Coupler is a nice unit. I've used it twice now. Once on a light 430# trailer and one on @spressomon trailer and liked the results on both. I can't remember that trailer weight; around 1300# IIRC.

I did however, have to HUNT for someone that had one in stock at the time and also to give me tech info on it. Knight was the only one that I felt comfortable buying from (both times). As @spressomon said you'll be very happy with the MC.

LnR came on my then 2006 AT Horizon and IMHO it was total POS (design & mfg). So there's that.

Somewhere in my online stash of pics I have a pic that someone took of a LnR that got seriously bent by backing a trailer around an uphill corner. If I find it I'll post it.

So, after unexpectingly receiving a lock n roll hitch yesterday (I was under the impression my order had been cancled) I quickly figured out the hitch I got wouldn't work for me. I contacted lock n roll and let them know of the issues. The gentleman who responded offered to send me the newer version, free of charge. I have to say I was very impressed with this, and will see how the new hitch looks when I receive it.
