LJ73 trans

I have an LJ73 with a 2LT that runs fine. Just wondering what trans I have and what motors would bolt up.

I assume just the 22re but I'd like to know if there's any others that would match up

you most probably have a R151F. I'm not sure a lot of engines would bolt up to that bellhousing/input shaft combo. I have a good bellhousing pic I will have to dig to start researching.

my understanding and it is very limited towhen it comes to the mini trucks is the tranny from the diesels are actually an upgrade for the gas pots who turn bigger tires...

see if you can find the vehicle information plate under the hood its usually on the firewall somewhere. on it there will be your vin, then under that a bunch of letters and numbers, which is where you can get your tranny info from
there are 4 things you can find on the same line, paint, motor, tranny, axel gears.
