Getting the 80 ready for the LSLC Roundup next week - finally got around to installing those 850/863 springs (1" Mr. Gasket spacers up front).

Don't have any good before pics - I like it though!

yea, yea, not bad for a white rig....! :D

clean looking rig. looks great. did you cut and turn your cat? until my little guys get big enough, they really use the boards to get in and out. but I really like the look without them. functional. clean.

Nice Rig, little bit of attitude w/ the altitude, eh?

Tech ?= Spacer necessary to even out with these springs? (only mall cruisin for now)

Nice rig
Are you gonna take on th hard core trails in it? Either that or join me on the :princess: trails? :D

Tucker,

do you deliver pizza in that?(something about mary reference)

tucker, m-80 so both you guys bring the 80's for the roundup. Can we still have fun without any damage, I don't want to scratch my :princess: up. Otherwise I'm bringing my mini.
Cool - so that's 5 80s that I know of, we should be able to find some trouble w/o much damage ;) I hear Katemcy has lots of wagon friendly trails ... see you guys there!

It's a '94 so the cats don't hang nearly as low ... and the exhast is routed up over the frame instead of below. I'm really thinking about a set of Slee's new step sliders though - usefull and stout.

I personally questioned Nolen as I gave him the application for Roundup. He has told me several times that it is "wagon friendly" and "your wagon will do fine". I will squash the little guy (he is the same height as me) if he is wrong, and I do know where he lives!!!!!

I am sure we will do okay. I have had mine out at Barnwell Mountain (Gilmer) and she did okay. I didn't run any really hard trails. We have been to Moab and northern Utah. She never missed a lick. She is my daily driver so I don't want to break her. :princess:

I will be joining you on the :princess: trails in my stock 80...see y'all there Wed!

Mine is stock too, except for bigger tires. I am trying to pack right now. Yuck!

Some add the spacer to raise the front end a little. Personally, I don't think it looks too bad without the spacers, but some don't like the "stink bug" look. I don't mind the rake especially since I know I'm going to load the cargo area up with a lot of stuff when I wheel. With it loaded up, the rear end levels out.

Make that five 80s. I took my stock 80 there last year with the running boards on. On the wagon friendly trail, I bent my running boards to the point I had to remove them. On the entire run, this was the only spot that will give your stock wagon a problem. If you have any lift you shouldnt be concerned. I have not been back to Katency since last years Roundup so I dont know if anything has changed.

PS. I had aired down for that run and had a lot in the back and drug my trailer hitch more times than I can count. Second day I was aired up, dropped the spare tire and only had a cooler back there. Hardly drug at all.

]Buckru: That's some good info you provided. Thanks. The running boards are gone already.

What are those two piece of metal(?) that are sticking up from your ARB?

You may want to leave the boards on. I took mine off and put a nice dent below the drivers door, wish like hell now I would have left the boards on and just bent those. And if you do bend the boards I always have a set to sell you :D

And just a note, I also have 1" spacers on the front of mine, but got mine for $16 at advanced auto parts. Ran out and took a quick picture, an't that great but with the 1" spacer, full tank and no spare tire, it still has just a tiny amount of stink bug.
