I love the look of these BIG ROUND LIGHTS on the older Landcruiser, having said that Am I wasting my money on investing on the 240 Blitz at this time vs all the fancy new led lights now a days. For reference I have the HELLA Spot led round lights 7" that I am happy with, but like I said befor THAT LOOK is what I am attracted to. Your thoughts!

They are the best looking lights for that old school look. But if I'm completely honest, they are not that bright compared to LEDs, incandescent lights are obsolete at this point.

Running a set of similar older hella rallye 4000 xenons. Them + doing a low beam projector retrofit on my headlights is stupid bright. Purely anecdotal because I haven't seen the newer high end LED driving lights but they're probably still competitive/better in some ways.

I still have HID converted 240s on my 80 but am looking to replace in the near future. I love the look but want the instant-on and low amp draw of LEDs.

If you want people to know you're scared of the dark, they are perfect!!

Never liked the look of them, always thought they are the lighting equivelant of clown shoes.

When I was 16, I often drove my boss's 75 series work cruiser at night on country roads. It had pair of 7" lights on the front, one flood, one pencil beam.
The pencil beam had a range of about 1.2km. You'd see it sweep distant hill sides while going around curves.
It was impressive but i don't think it was really useful beyond about 1/3 of the distance
