I did a search, and looked through the pages of the part number sticky, maybe i missed ti somehow but i didnt see what i was looking for.

im needing the part number / light bulb number for the front running / parking lights, should be the same bulb as the rear license plate bulbs.

i stuck a 12V bulb in one of the marker lights and it is quite bright and hasnt burnt out yet (somehow) and also did the rear LP bulbs as well but they lasted about 15 min then went out.

the one i pulled out of the front marker light is a 1251 bulb and after running the number on 1000bulbs.com i found it is a 28v bulb which explains why it and the other one is so dim. i know 4 volts isnt a big difference but id like to get a 24v bulb in there.

thanks for the help.

cool looks like the 5W bulbs are the ones i am wanting.

4 bulbs totaling $2.16 US and $7.43 US in shipping for a grand total of $9.59 US.... that makes the bulbs $2.3975 ($2.40) US EACH!... guess that is part of the cost of having a neato imported 24V diesel in the states... no wonder im broke.

EDIT:

well shipping is the same for 4 bulbs as it is 10 bulbs, it goes up again after that, so ima order 10 of em as apparently thats how many are in a box or whatever... so that drops the cost to $1.28 each, lots better. Costing me $12.83 US total to my door.

got my bulbs today... but they are not even close to what i ordered (i checked my order history to make sure i didnt screw up), different style completely only thing similar is they are 5w. called em no answer, left a message, likely due to the new year stuff.

ill post up what ends up happening here, these look kinda like huge dome light bulbs and they are all 12V.

If I were you I'd just go to a place that services heavy trucks and see if they can help you out. Most heavy trucks are 24v.

l get all my 24v bulbs from the dealer, they are cheaper than partsstore if they even have them.
l have part numbers if you need them.

I was a technician on big rigs and not a single one that i touched that came through our shop was 24V some of the older ones are 24V but are pretty rare. so i dont think that would do much for me unfortunately.

i stopped by the dealer, they didnt list any 24v anything, all he could give me was a 12v part number that didnt help me any.

but yea if you have part numbers maybe i can do something with them! if you have em please post em up. i know i can get them online but a local source even if a little more expensive would be nice to have in a pinch.

i know part (if not all) of the issue is here in the states we never got this vehicle much less many 24v vehicles at all, we had the military K5 blazer diesels that were 24v but those are few and far between.

cool thank you Simon.

on a side note last thursday i had called the place i ordered the bulbs from and left a message, well i got a call back today from a gentleman named dave he said he was gonna ship the right bulb to me and i should have them in the next day or 2 then i asked about the others and told him i have no use for them, he told me if i could ship them back he would send me a check for the price of shipping. He was very nice and polite and you could tell he was willing to do what was needed to be done. his great attitude and customer is #1 approach has me sold, im sure i will get the proper product in a reasonable time frame.
I definitely recommend them.
