Hey folks. I just finished rebuilding my engine after a rod bearing failure and am now having some confusing dash light issues. I have the trans temp light, timing belt light, fuel filter light, and both boost lights on all the time. I was thinking that I missed a ground wire, which i had, but after fixing it hasn't changed. I can't seem to fond a good wiring diagram to guide me. And I don't know what to do. The truck runs great, but id really like to get these lights back to normal.

Please help

It's not charging. Test the alternator, check the brushes and regulator etc.

The christmas tree dash lights is an indication of a bad ground connection somewhere
(could be in the engine bay, or the instrument cluster), or indication of a bad alternator, or a bad connection at the alternator.

Given that you had the engine out, double check alternator connectors are clean and getting good contact.

Also check all circuits to the alternator are good.

And trestle check all ground wires are back, abs have good clean connections to ground
