Hi!
on my HJ61 I have changed my alternator with external voltage regulator withan alternator with internal voltage regulator.
Now the problem is the Charge Light Relay that is indicated in the wiring diagram.
As this component is difficult to find I have the idea to use a normal automotive relay 24 v (20v e 10/20Ah) with two diode schotty (5A7100V) in series to replicate the function of the original one.
I know tha in the original are in parallel but I think tha in series is simplier and shoud be works
In this way I suppose to eliminate possibility of return current to the alternator taht may be damaged the internal voltage regulator.
Anyone have had a similar idea or experience doing the modification from exteral to internal voltage regulator?
Or, simply, i may don't use this component?
Thank for any idea, suggestion, indication....

I ask the question differently: does anyone know if by swapping from external to internal regulator I can avoid installing the Charge Light Realy? I wired a new wire that goes directly to the battery to have S, IG and L that goes to the charge lamp. So I don't have the Chare Light Relay. Everything works fine but I don't know if I may have problems over time.
This is the diagram I have used.
Thank you all for any advice or information.
