So I am looking at the OME 861/862 lift springs and also the Eiback 1.5" lift springs to use with my Bilsteins. I am conserned about the stiffness of the OME springs and I don't intend to add any accessories to make the LC heavier. I have been able to get the spring rates from both companies and they are:
Eibach
Front- Progressive 140-190 lbs/inch
Rear- Progressive 150-205 lbs/inch
OME
861> 220lbs
862> 240lbs
851> 220lbs
860> 220lbs
Obviously these rates are signifcantly different. So my questions are:
1) Does anyone know the stock rates?
2) For those that are running the 861/862 how much stiffer are the springs that stock? To get really specific, do you know how much the rear drops when you add 200 pounds on the bumper (if anyone can check this I could get an idea of the rate by comparing it to the stock change when the weight is added; also if you have the 860 springs this would help because their rate is close)?
3) For those that changed from the stock springs, do you happen to notice if the stock springs were longer or shorter than the 861/861 when not compressed?
Thanks
Cary
