Does anyone have the original instructions from an OME lift kith that they could post here? I am installing a lift on my cruiser tommorow and since I bought used springs, I have no instructions. I have read all of the posts I can find on the subject, but I am sure that I will forget some of the simple steps. Thanks in advance.

The only instructions that came with mine were for assembling the greasable anti-inv. shackles.

I saw this http://store.yahoo.com/coolfj40/hfsbdsinin.html on the CCOT site. Different springs, same procedure.

Or, just dig in and ask questions when you get stuck.

I don't remember the exact spec, but make sure that you don't over-torque the shackles, so that they will pivot like they're 'sposed to.

Thanks for the input. I copied the suspension pages out of my FSM and it looks fairly simple.

I plan on doing most of the disassembly with a sawzall so hopefully I will get it done in one day.

Yep. I just used the manual. It is the same process whether OEM or OME..... :D Get after it! You will love the results

I used the manual, hope you dont have to have it the next day. I did almost all of the work on my instal by myself. Only had friends helping me for a days worth of work. But I am rather slow, I just got mine finished last night (still have to do shocks )

If you are really good, then you might get it done in a day if you dotn get any snags. I wish you luck with a sazall as well, didnt help me much. Last advice, if I had it to do over again I would get a propane torch and burn all the bushings out . They are the biggest problem! Good luck and post pics here when you get finished!!
