Hey guys hopefully someone can help me out. I am trying to install my my rear spring conversion. I have the southern supply perches installed, air bags and shocks out. Problem is i csnt get the axle to drop enough to get my tjm 2.5 springs. I am on axle stands up high and disconnected the sway bar. Am i going to need a spring compressor or is there a trick i am missing?

Disconnect your panhard and one upper link (over the gas tank) or use spring compressors.

Well I got the rears in and looks good. Preliminary measurements look like i got 3 inches with TJM HD rears.

Now for the front....wow what a PITA to remove front struts and shocks! The two little allen screws up top i would like to talk that engineer. I got everything out and gave up at 11:00. I have the shocks and struts ready to in but im wondering if im going to have to drop LCA to get this lifted shock in..

I have videos in the photo section on gxor that shows all the short cuts for the gx lift.

Well guys finally got it done. Total Chaos UCAs, Tjm 2.5 lift with struts and springs up front. Southern style coil conersion in the back with Tjm HD springs. Got it all put back together but i can tell my camber is all goofed up. When i loosened LCA's i made sure adjustment plate didnt move. I know it need to get it aligned but dont want to drive it too far like this. Any suggestions?

I am curious. Did you disconnect all the height sensors, remove the air compressor and reservoir? Did you remove the fuse for the suspension ECU? When I did that three lights came up on the dash and I couldn't do a zero-point-calibration? I had to put the fuse back.

I just finished mine this weekend. Pull 2 fuses under the hood and 1 on the inside dash panel. This should take care of all lights.

When I pull those fuses then I get three lights on my dash. VSC off, ATRAC, and Slip. I had to put the fuse under the dash back (the TEMS fuse) and do a Zero point calibration to get rid of those three lights. I had to leave the TEMs fuse to keep those lights off.

Hey guys just an update....after i finished i measured overall height to see how much lift I gained. Stock I was 20 inches in the front and 21 in the back. After the lift I was 25 in the back (HD sprimgs) and only 22 in the front. I was confused why i only gained 2 inches in the front. I went back and looked at TJM and saw i had missed a spacer on the strut. So....tore it down tonight and added the spacer and voila gained another inch! So final numbers are 23 in the front and 25 rear. The first picture is how i first had it set up and second on how it is supposed to be.
