Liability Insurance? Who has it?

I've always had liability & comprehensive, that's it (no collision). Meaning, my truck is covered by thefts, vandalism, things that "hit me" while driving on the road, etc. If I'm at fault in a collision, my coverage won't cover me. If the other party is at fault, they pay for my truck. Basically you have full coverage, minus you crashing or wrecking the truck yourself.

Example in costs:

Full coverage: $1200/year
Liability only: $450/year
Liability + Comp: $650/year ($500 deductible)

Funny thing is, our 2008 BMW costs $1800/year at full coverage by itself. Adding both the Bimmer (full coverage) & LC (liability + comp), we're paying $1850/year :)

I have liability only on my '93, I figure that if I wreck it I will just cut it into a buggy:D
Interesting though, my '92 Celica convertible has full coverage. I had planned to only have liability on it but the full coverage was only $60 more per year!
I pay just over $1000 per year to fully insure 2 vehicles and liability only on two others.

I have full coverage on my '91. But I also added the value of the 2 ARB Diffs, 2 Bumpers, & stereo I have instaled. Probably a waste of money, But I feal better. I also asked Gieco numerous times & got the same answer everytime, YES I am covered if I wreck it off road.:hhmm:
