i had a new 79 series box sitting here for a year or so and did the measurements and wasn't happy with what i would have to do to make it fit. this truck has 12,000 original miles on it and i don't want to be chopping a factory box for it. original or tray, not butchured 79 ...
it has the alloy tray now but if i could score a rust free factory box then i would be all over it.
 
Off topic, Crushers I love the first comment in your sig line, can I use it without offense?

I also agree that most people in the US wouldn't appreciate a fine piece of machinery like the one above. I think it's the lack of seat heaters and leather really.....

there was a mint looking one on ebay oz not that long ago. It was $700 and got no bids. I'll see if I can dig up the link. If you have a container coming over or know some one who does it wouldn't be a bad deal.

IN THE MIDDLE EAST,AUSTRALLIA THEY USE THEM BUT THEY ALL HAVE VERY,VERY LOW MILEAGE,BECAUSE THEY NEVER RAN !!!!
